Prof. Zidong Wang
University of Science and Technology Beijing
Biography: Prof. Zidong Wang is chief professor/PhD supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Chief scientist of Major Basic Research for National Defense Security (Defense "973"), and Beijing Science and Technology New Star. His research interests mainly include the theory of nanocrystalline structure of metal, nanocrystal structural materials (obtained during solidification), and new casting technology of nanocrystalline materials. He undertook national defense "973" project, national "863 Project", key projects of Ministry of Railways: development of high-speed railway axles, military preresearch and "factory association" project, etc. He has published more than 200 papers, 4 monographs, the representative work "Non-equilibrium Solidification Theory and Technology" and 2 provincial and ministerial first prizes.

Prof. Yang Liu
Huazhong University of Science and Technology
Biography: From August 2021 to now, he has been working in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a doctoral supervisor and professor, and was selected into the National High-level Young Talent Project. He is mainly engaged in the design and application research of high performance ferroelectric polymer. He clarified the scientific problem about the piezoelectric origin of ferroelectric polymer materials which had been debated for many years. He achieved quasi-homomorphic phase boundary in organic materials for the first time and obtained the world record of piezoelectric property of polymer materials (-63.5pC/N). The results were published in Nature(Nature 562,96(2018) as the first author. The origin of the structures of flexible ferroelectric polymer films with excellent properties such as high galvanic trapping effect and electrostrictive constant was revealed (NatureMaterials 19,1169(2020)). By the first author or corresponding author in Nature, NatureMaterials, Nature Communications international journals published more than 30 papers, such as its research achievements by Nature, and other various media tracking and as a key research highlights, successively won the award for the materials research institute postdoctoral, American Physical Society March Meeting Young Scientist Award, Pennsylvania State University postdoctoral research excellence Award. He is a member of the American Society of Materials, the American Physical Society and the American Ceramic Society. He is also a reviewer of many international journals such as Science, Science Advance and Nature Communications. He is also a reviewer of the Czech Natural Science Foundation and the Marie Curie Scholars Foundation of the European Union.
